Why Choose the Sweden?

Public universities are tuition-free for EU or EEA students. For other international students, Swedish universities offer innovative, student-centered learning and a strong sustainability culture. English is widely spoken, and many programs are taught in English.

Admission requirements

Passport, identity photos, completed application form, health insurance, acceptance letter, proof of financial stability, previous study transcripts, and proof of paid application fee.

Costs:

Tuition for non EU or EEA students: approximately SEK 80,000 to 295,000 per year, depending on university and program

Living costs: budget about SEK 8,568 per month, higher in major cities

Scholarships:

University merit scholarships are common. Examples include Uppsala University Global Scholarships and Lund University Global Scholarship Program.

Visa and post-study :

Submit standard documents, proof of funds, health insurance, and admission letter. After completing a degree of at least two semesters, graduates can apply for a 6 month residence permit to seek work or start a business. Securing a job can lead to a work visa and, potentially, longer-term residence.
